  3. In my Australian state, we locked down hard for months when cases reached 200 daily. We didn't open up until cases had stabilised at zero.

  9. Cases are a bad thing in an unvaccinated population. It means lots of people have suffered disease and/or death. And those with long covid are still suffering.
