  1. The NSW lockdown looks to be too piecemeal. They would likely have been on top of it by now if they had followed the tougher Victorian strategy, but they didn't and probably won't.

  2. Before you bash Australia over it's vaccine rollout, why not do some fact checking? It was all about vaccine shortages. Being a "first world" country doesn't magically conjure up additional vaccine production. The only way to get more is to deprive someone else. We could have reached 70% by now from local AZ production had it not been for the clotting issue which meant that AZ was deemed unsuitable for swathes of the population. You also don't take into account the huge number of Australians who've had their first AZ jab and are still in their 12 week waiting period. We'll likely have reached 70% or more by summer anyway as our rollout ramps up.

  3. Sorry but you're wrong. Viral loads in the unvaccinated are massively higher than in those who are vaccinated. The vaccines are working in the way they were intended - to reduce the risk of disease and death. They were not designed to prevent infection. That's not what vaccines do (mostly).

  7. They've have a few cases and a few small outbreaks. They've been rolling out Pfizer but very slowly.
