  1. I have roughly 80,000 emails in my gmail folders... how would you suggest I sort through that lot? Gmail doesn't provide any convenient way to search, filter cleanup, etc. I couldn't keep up, so I gave up trying.

  2. I agree with local storage but I would avoid thumb drives. They have a habit of suddenly dying.

  3. I don't even know what google drive is, and I don't like online storage anyway. I would love to be able to download my mail and/or be able to delete old mail that I without going one by one.

  4. Fine if you have time and the patience to do it. I have ten's of thousand's dating back to when gmail was launched. I was receiving hundreds on some days. I fell behind around 15 years ago, lol. I've wanted a way to download and deal with it locally, but I'm totally clueless on anything like that.
