  1. What do you mean by Germany not using Microsoft? They'll still use it. I think it's just government. I worked for a company that switched to Linux. Didn't go well. Lasted less than a year.

  3. I tried Linux a few years ago. Didn't like it. Switched back to Windows and never looked back.

  4. ​​ @hopelessdecoy I never see adds. I have the so called "data mining" disabled. The whole MS is spying thing is over hyped scaremongering. Not that I care. Linux does not provide alternatives, at least not for me. Who has old hardware lying around anyway, and who'd want to use it for anything that requires serious performance?

  5. ​@hopelessdecoy No offense intended but most of your points are moot fanboy stuff. If Linux was really that good and easy to switch to, then Linux wouldn't be languishing at 3% deskop uptake, especially given that it's free.
