It has affected the Russian economy and the pain will increase with time.
1
People mock Biden, but I'm old enough to understand what he's going through. It sucks.
1
Ukraine has been beating Russia for six months.
1
Russia advancing thanks to Mike Johnson's Ukrainian aid blocking actions (in my opinion).
1
Is it really that complicated? The way I see it... Russia is selling less oil since sanctions were imposed, and volume is still falling, hence production cuts. There's no where for the oil to go. Why isn't it that simple? The cartels seem irrelevent right now (within the context of russian oil).
1
No it doesn't TROLL.
1
Hope you're right, but the polls indicate that there are millions of brainwashed Trump fans in America. It's shocking.
1
Much of this presentation is nonsensical. For example, comparing territory gained month by month 2022 vs 2023, and then extrapolating to 2067. There's a reason why I unsubscribed months ago and I'm seeing it again here. There's a difference between the heavily mined and trenched areas in 2023 vs those poorly defended in 2022. Strangely after making the aforementioned silly comments, you explain the reality quite well, but in doing so, you expose the apparent silliness of said comments. This all comes about because your presentation is in reverse order. But then you go all glass half empty on us. What an incredibly muddled presentation.
1
I believe the war is headed south toward Crimea and ultimately Crimea's recapture by Ukrainian forces. It will most likely be a repeat of what we saw in Kherson, possibly preceded by another attack on the Kerch bridge.
1
None of those ideas make any sense in the situation Russia is hellbent on stealing territory from it's neighbour. It's about empire building. Russia needs to be booted out of Ukraine.
1
Can you explain your lines on maps thing in more detail. It still makes no sense. There are no lines as you draw them. Russia is stealing territory, Ukraine wants it all back. And that's as it should be. So, the only lines I know of are the internationally recognised borders.
1
NATO didn't.
1
Ruzzia will be caught with its pants down if the man in America goes thumbs up.
1
Russia is losing big pictures. Trolls like to focus on sq km. That's how this war will be won.
1
@wh1ce266 Irelevent. Ukraine wants to stand up to bully Russia and it needs to. That's the only way there is any hope of stopping Russia coming back for more. That's how it works with bullies. I was bullied relentlessly as a kid. One day I turned on the bully and beat him up. He didn't come back for more. Ever wondered why Russia is the biggest nation on the planet?
1
The 99% don't matter here. It's about weakening the economy and reducing Putin's ability to fund the war and get what he wants. That's the main goal, right?
1
@qinby1182 Stupid comment. USA did not kill a million Iraqi's. Additionally, the Iraq war has no correlation with Russia invading Ukraine. That and a bunch of other stuff you claimed was just plain wrong. Maybe try again when you get your facts sorted.
1
Trump should be standing at that podium if it's crooked.
1
Of course they are scared of Putin. Most don't want to join the already thousands slammed up in Russian prisons.
1
That Trump comment was stupid and untrue.
1
Finally, something sensible about Russia's red lines. The way you describe it is how I've always understood them... except I'm not so sure about the math. I don't believe we can place actual values anywhere.
1
Why is Russia so fixated on Russian speakers? I speak English but don't live in England. Lot's of Spanish speakers don't live in Spain. Will France try to claim Quebec? No. Russia is nuts.
1
You're the ignoramous. Ruzzia's baseless bluffs have worn thin. Besides, China said no. Even the ruzzians are admitting that they can't push the Ukrainians out of Kursk easily. Clearly not a trap.
1
That was stupid. I'm guessing you're Russian?
1
Americans need to dump trump for the sake of the world.
1
He was overly fixated on territorial gains with too little attention to everything else. There's not a lot of defence south of Tokmak compared to the north where Ukraine is focused right now.
1
It doesn't assume that.
1
Reagan said, "Tear down this wall." Trump says build one
1
Hope Ukraine flattens you puppets
1
Great comment. Spot on.
1
The West/Ukraine is not doomed to lose. How do you figure that? Additionally, you've forgotten to factor in that Russia wants all of Ukraine and a bunch of other states from the former USSR. It boils down this... stop Russia now by pushing them out of Ukraine or have a bigger problem next year or next decade when they take a bite out of another country. Because that's what Russia and has been doing for centuries. Russia is the neighbour no one wants.
1
Russia has more oil than it knows what to with, therefore I don't see how targeting refineries will increase oil prices. If anything, it should lower the price of Russian oil.
1
@carlomolina7858 Exactly. And even being in NATO wouldn't be a guarantee.
1
But can they do it for a couple of years with sanctions biting harder as the months go by?
1
It's silly to think that Ukraine would negotiate (give away 18% of It's territory) knowing full well that ruZZia will be back for more.
1
They did but the evidence was hidden. Pretty obvious. Like a drug bust where the drugs are flushed away as the cops arrive. Of course there were WMDs. But it wasn't just that. The guy was a despot, so there was obviously regime change involved. Same should have happened in Syria but Russia stuffed it up.
1
The west isn't going to allow Russia to win in the long run. That's a no brainer.
1
There is no western encroachment eastwards. To frame it that way is disingenuous. What we have are a number of former USSR states (and others) who because of Russian aggression decide to join a defence pact. But there is no eastward movement. All Russia need do is stay within it's borders and behave itself as the rest of Europe does. In fact, Russia could become part of the European ""family" if it wasn't such a bad actor. But Russia's latest act of bastardry has set it back decades.
1
Bullshit troll. You lot said that 3.months ago.
1
He didn't mention it most likely because it's irrelevent. Its a talking point that has recently circulated, but it makes no sense. Neither side can build significant fortifications right on the front lines, and international borders ARE the front lines. The side building anything significant needs to be back a distance, as was russia when it built the huge trench systems in the south. They were well back, not because they couldn't fire long range missiles, but because Ukraine could.
1
Not really.
1
@PhantomOfManyTopics Yeah, right... how many rubbles did they pay you?
1
It's not just Russia vs. Ukraine.
1
Yeah, the NATO expansion thing is pretty much just Russian propaganda.
1
They're obviouslly wrong because Russia is not thriving. You've only got to follow a few of the local Russian bloggers for a while to see that. Russia is going backwards.
1
Why is that delusional? Puting in defenses after an attack is too late.
