Moinul Hossain Most of the hate speech I hear comes from Muslims, which is ironic considering that Muslims are the ones most often complaining about hate speech. In my opinion, if people want to believe in ridiculous fairy stories and superstitions which in many cases lead to the atrocities we've seen lately then they had better prepare themselves for a response. You might call the response hate speech but I call it constructive criticism. Nothing justifies the sort of religiously motivated violence we've seen recently.

  6. TheZchristina97 Most blacks in America have never been slaves so what are you talking about? Whether black, white or Asian, you're all living in arguably the greatest country on the planet in terms of personal freedoms and opportunity. A lot of problems stem from black American's own regressive culture and that's an acknowledgement that comes from their own mouths. People who dwell in the past or drown in their own self pity or hold grudges or transfer blame to others are working against themselves. This is clear to see. Many people struggle through poverty, child abuse, broken families etc. but pull themselves out of it. This is as true for Asian people as it is for black or white. It's not as if "they had a plan" every time. Most likely they didn't. Refugees most likely wouldn't. What you are doing is making excuses for bad attitudes, poor decisions and laziness. Stop blaming failure on skin color.

  7. Dexorne The 'prison' is a necessary condition of their own making... or more correctly I should say of their leaders own making. If Hamas would stop behaving like the terrorist organisation they really are then there could be peace. Perhaps they could stop convert water pipes into rockets and stop wasting cement on tunnels. You should also realize that Israel sends vast sums of money to them (too much) and most of it is wasted.

  10. Kristi Marie Affirmative action is a bad idea and its unjust.. You want to choose the person who is not the best for the position because of skin color. I want to choose the best person for the position regardless of skin color. Which makes the most sense? Which is the fairest? Image if someone applies for a position at a great university but fails only to discover later that the person who was accepted was because she was brown skinned even though academically inferior. That stinks. Do we not want the very best minds graduating from the top universities? The greats researchers? The greatest scientists? Affirmative action works against that. Remember we are all a minority of one. These groups you talk about are arbitrary and meaningless. Affirmative action is itself a form of racism and sexism. Affirmative action doesn't the problem. It just adds a layer of injustice.

  16. Affirmative action is a fundamentally flawed idea when applied to groups. If there is a need for intervention, it should be targeted at the those who need it. It should matter not whether a person is black white, asian, male, female, gay or whatever.

  17. The first few minutes of this video is so biased that it would be a joke if it were not so serious. Most importantly, why does this video forget to mention the 2500 years prior to the British mandate. This is the most significant segment of history and without it there is no context. The conflict is really 1400 years old. This is really about a war between two religions... Islam against the Jews, as it has been for 1400 years. Not so much about land because the Arabs already occupy vast lands Gaza and the West Bank should revert to Jewish control in my opinion. And a one state solution is the only viable solution.
