  1. Supply and demand would be one reason. Teams compete for the best players because it's all about winning. To put e.g. police officers on football player salaries would be impossible economically.

  2. There has to be a hierarchy of roles. I don't see a problem with it. I don't want to be a manager. Others do. It's not always about haves and have nots.

  3. I can only assume you're misunderstanding the concepts because I get nothing like that from this discussion. My employer employs me because I have the skills and experience they require. It's that simple. What would be the alternative?

  4. Same thing happened to me except it was due to bullying. Took me 25 years to catch up. I finally entered my chosen career at age 40.

  8. I agree with you on love and working together but the pandemic response has convinced me that it's not possible. Too much selfishness on display. It was appalling.
