  1. This was brilliant and spot on...No idea whether Sam will see this comment, but long time fan here... I do disagree with you sometimes, but regarding credibilty on Covid issues.... you blow Brett out of the water. Honestly, Bret went totally off the rails during the pandemic. I was once one of his fans (ever since the woke issues at their college blew up), but no longer, sadly. And while we're on the topic, JP is another one who became derailed.

  2. Most vaccines do not prevent spread, but most vaccines for airborne diseases do reduce spread by a huge margin. By how much cannot be determined with any precision initially. But nothing new there. The covid vaccines are no different. As for the point you're making about being forced... that makes no sense at all. Your right to not be vaccinated or not wear a mask during a pandemic ends when you risk endangering others. Go live on a mountain top if you don't want to be part of a community. Your attitude is like the folk who illegally light up their outdoor bbq on an extreme fire danger day.

  3. Sam was right about Covid. If you believed the unscientific bs pedled by some of the tinfoil hat wearing brigade then you'd be excused for being misled. I didn't like the confusion, so I took the opportunity to study virology and understand the issues around covid fundamentally from the scientific research papers as they were published. Sadly my side of politics (conservative) let me down big time by misrepresenting everything for political gain. Yes, Trump did a good job of promoting vaccine development. Credit where its due. Not everything on the conservative side failed, just most of it.
