One blemish in this... Sam's constant harping on about Trump not handing over power and being shocked at Trump supporters having no answer... there is no answer because the accusation is a misrepresentation of the events. At least that's how it looks to me from the outside. I would say Sam is so hung up on Trump that he'll never have a balanced take on anything Trump related.

Sam is hardly to the right. He's well left of me and I'm pretty much a centrist with a few moderately conservative leanings.

He has a very mixed audience, right across the political spectrum, so regardless of what he posts there'll likely be critics.

@ConsoleCombat More like TDS. I'm not American nor am I a Trump supporter, but Sam's anti Trump tirades make him look crazy and are not what I would expect from a sane and balanced commenter. Damaging his credibilty and image is another way I would say it. But I keep coming back because over the long term and on balance, he's pretty good.

@natalyawoop4263 Not just a Trump cult thing... he has critics on both sides. Maybe you've forgotten the time when he was commonly referred to as a neocon? People just don't think deeply enough. And sometimes Sam doesn't. It's human nature.

Being wealthy and poweful are not good examples of traditional norms.

I'm an outsider... but the American two party system is part of the problem in my opinion. It's by its very nature a "them and us" scenario. If you want to vote liberal or vote on environmental issues or you're woke or a socialist etc. You're probably voting Democrat. Same problem on the conservative side with the far right, the religous right, traditional conservatism, Trumpism etc. All lumped together.

You're going to make an issue out of something as trivial as a burger? LOL How do you know he lied?
