  1. Mandates are not (or shouldn't be) a left-right issue. Mandates are about balancing the level of disease and death in a community with all of the other variables but it's fundamentally a health issue. Sam got it about right.

  4. We need differentiate between experts "saying things" vs experts presenting evidence based on peer reviewed research. The former is what you'll see a lot of from anti-vaxxers and global warming deniers.
