  3. I suspect Sam falls into the camp of those who think intelligence and consciousness are just the result of brain function and thereby (mistakingly in my opinion) assume those attributes can be equivalently duplicated in silicon.

  5. I don't believe Sam has a clue when it comes to AI and consciousness. And I'm not saying this as an anti Sam troll or hater. I've been a fan of Sam Harris for many years, even a oated up subscriber for a time. I agree with Sam on many topics, but not on this one.
