  2. My tip would be to produce some work of your own if you don't have any experience. It worked for me. I've now been with a great software company for 20 years, and I was in my 30s with no experience.

  3. Relative to the general workforce / population, I count myself as lucky doing that. I've done other stuff, and it sucked.
