  1. I would say the offense is more akin to having a loved one insulted. It's personal. At least that's how I felt as a Christian when someone mocked the Bible or Jesus. Now I know it's all based on myth etc. but at the time it seemed real.

  4. No. That's just wrong. Christianity is as wrong as every other religion I've looked into. I was raised a Christian and believed it all for 30 years until, and like Megan and others, when I looked close enough and stopped believing everything I was told, I discovered that Christianity is based largely on misinformation, misinterpretation and hearsay. The Bible is NOT a reliable source of knowledge. It just isn't. Something being written in an old book isn't sufficient evidence of it's truthfulness. It's just the writer's opinions.
