  1. ​ @gruntaxeman3740 Actually, yes. I've done a lot of C to C++ and it works out really well. Would be a damn site easier than going to a totally different syntax and conceptually different language. Rust is an absolute nightmare.

  3. ​​ @perc-ai I'd be laughing at you. C to C++ is a no-brainer. It works and it provides a lot of advantages. I've been converting C code to C++ for years. When you're dealing with commercial code that supports thousands of users, you don't make massive breaking changes. If you're a hobbyist in a basement, yeah, convert to rust. No one will care. C to C++ alows incremental improvements with immediate benefits. Without breaking every. Additionally, c and C++ are close enough at the C syntactical level to be understandable by legacy developers C with specialist product knowledge. That's all lost with rust.
