  3. MS Visual Studio is awesome. Nothing else comes close.

  4. Popularity is a poor measure of quality. MS wanted to improve java but was stopped. So, MS made a better java... effectivelly, C#. A better language than java that executes faster and supports windows GUI construction out of the box. Yeah, the whole java ecosystem sucks big time.

  5. Yeah, I also found Linux to be a time waster. There are too many hassles. Lack of professional level software, etc.

  7. Who cares about bloat if it works well, I say. Only if you're on old hardware or low on RAM shoukd it be an issue. Too many people use "bloat" to bash MS. Eclipse is bloated. Chrome is bloated.... It's not just a Microsoft issue. It's developers who don't care or are too young to have known any better.... like glueing 100 libs together to get a solution.... That's bloat.
