  1. ​​ @SpeakChinglish Move to a new language yet to be created that does what js does but does it well. JS is a hacked together language adopted accidentally in a hurry, and it's a curse. Learn from the mistake that is JS.

  2. The concept of free software is a strange one. Yes, if people want to donate their to a comminity, nothing wrong with that, but do we expect free food, free shoes, houses, cars, electricity, gas, should we expect free music downloads, free movies? Why is software any different? Yet we've come to expect it.

  3. And if you use a decent IDE you wouldn't even need CMake. I've never touched a make file in almost 30 years of C and C++ development.

  4. ​ @vilian9185 people complain about CMake because they foolishly choose to use it. I don't have a problem with CMake because I realised it was crap. I avoid it. There are better options.
