  1. "eating up resources"... really? An exaggeration surely. My W11 system sits on or near zero % CPU usage when I'm not running anything. If there's a service you don't need or use, turn it off.

  2. Recall is not spyware. It's just being pushed as such by Windows haters. Think about it. Such a thing in the corporate world would breach a whole raft of privacy and security regulations, especially for listed companies.

  3. I'm not sure Linux saves money. Maybe $50 on a new PC. Windows 11 was a free upgrade. And I've never in 28 years needed to upgrade my hardware because of MS. You're presenting a bunch of non arguments. I have a 10 year old PC running Windows 10. If that one can't be upgraded to 11, then it'll stay on 10 for a couple more years. But it's not my "daily driver". So I don't care too much. I could install Linux as a last resort. It's only used for web browsing anyway.

  4. I haven't even spent 1$ on Windows in 10 years. The cost savings of Linux are miniscule. There's a heap of free software for Windows. I use MS Visual Studio at home for C++. It's free, and Linux has nothing that comes close.
