  1. ​​ @anon_y_mousse That's a strawman. You say 90%. What if its 30%? Now you're missing 70%. I'm in the same situation with MS Visual Studio. Nothing in the Linux world comes close. VS Code is a mere shadow of it. People in our situations who use a specific tool a lot, we don't want to kneecap ourselves by moving to inferior OSs or second rate software. It has nothing to do with "sucking". And "evil" is the wrong term. Companies exist to make a profit. In fact, listed companies have a responsibility to shareholders.

  2. Does Linux support MS Visual Studio? I think not. That's a deal breaker for me. Linux doesn't have anything like it as far as I can tell. And yes, I have tried Linux. I wasn't impressed. As for Adobe on Linux... the market is too small and Linux users typically want everything for free and are hostile toward propriatory software.
