  1. There is another way of looking at this. Yes, everything you said might be true. But what is also true is that you'll never get everyone to eat well, exercise, and not be stressed, etc. There'll always be people who need surgery, and it's not your fault that they need it. You fulfilled your obligation. I should eat more veggies and get more exercise and avoid stress, but that's a pipe dream that I'll likely never fulfil due to my flaws as a person and others' selfishness.
