  3.  @the1stoldman  Coffee quality in Australia is variable depending on where you get it. Same in NZ. I've lived in both countries. Melbourne is better in range and quality when compared to anything I've had in NZ but not by much. Things may have changed but I find it difficult to believe Wellington can out compete Melbourne on coffee. That said, I love Wellington. I have many fond memories of Wellington. My father even drove the trams there way back. Spent a lot of time in Wellington.

  5. I live in Melbourne. Just watched your video and learned a few things. I hate the heat and the dry. Cool cloudy weather even rain is what I love. There's a reason why most people don't live in the middle. It's crap, unless you want to die of heat stroke and/or dehydration or you like 120F heat.

  8. Mathematics and science work better in metric because we count in base ten. It's the most natural and efficient way to do it. I learned both and I am comfortable with both, but on balance, metric is better.

  9. Spot on. Manchester is the department in large stores where you'll find bedding, sheets, pillow covers etc. I would never refer to bed sheets as manchester.
