  1. So I'll be able to buy a new EV for $20k or a good used EV for $10k by 2030? That's what it with take in my opinion buy I don't believe that's possible. All you'd get for $10k is the battery. I'm not against EVs, I want one but the cost profile for EVs is all wrong.

  3. They're too expensive. Bottom line. Why promote an overpriced product that most people don't want or can't afford? When I can buy a used EV with a good battery and decent range for less than $15000 is when I will buy one. I suspect the majority feel the same. And most people don't buy new cars.
