  1. You're right about the bullying. My nick name at school was mousy because I never talked and I was bullied mercilessly. The popular kids were noisy and good at sports. I was quiet and good at maths. They thought I was weird.

  3. The problem is the up front cost. Who will pay. I could install solar on my roof and buy an electric car and I would like to except for $$$$. I can buy a reasonable used for $10k. A similarly spec'd electric will cost me $50k

  6. It has nothing to do with capitalism. There are plenty of socially minded people who have many friends (like some of my work colleagues). Then there are others like me who don't have the social skills. It's more about personality types. I'm a loner by nature. I don't like people.
