  2. We have plastic recycling in Australia. Some of the plastic is recycled for construction, road barriers, sound walls on freeways. Lots of other things. We personally reuse shopping bags and some kinds of plastic containers. Our city collects plastcs in our recycling bins at the roadside.

  5.  @agoogolofgeese  Lucid dreaming sounds kind of fascinating but I've never had one and since I'm already in my 60s, I'm guessing I never will. I very rarely remember any dreams. They just vanish the moment I wake.

  6. Trebor Seven Science is not a religion, it is a method of discovery. Yes, science makes mistakes, but unlike religion, it attempts to fix them by continuing research. Religion by contrast can get one stuck in bronze age thought, something science abandoned long ago. Putting it another way... science admits it's mistakes whereas religion tries to hide them. Also remember that the bible still describes the earth as a flat circular surface mounted on pillars and covered with a dome where the celestial bodies are found... science has moved on from this nonsense. Over and out.
