@davidtaylor351 We also need nuclear energy. We could do amazing things but we're being increasingly influenced, controlled and limited by wokeness and hence, political shortsightedness. Better to have a conservative government in limbo than have the woke mob gain control. That's how it seems.

The terms "democratic" and "democracy" in their broadest sense (which is how these terms are typically used in the context of Americsn politics) is entirelly applicable. It simply refers to government by the people, free elections etc.

I worked 20 years in trades (in factories mostly) then 20 years in offices, and due to the pandemic, now doing zoom calls and working from home. I've seen both sides. I'm sure many have. As well, my grandfather was a farmer. I spent a lot of time on the farm as a kid. I saw how hard was.
