  1. No they didn't. I'm proud of the way Australia handled the pandemic. They treated the pandemic as a natural disaster as it was and activated the necessary rules and restrictions that would apply under any other disaster footing. Problem is the me me me folk want their own way at all time and fck everyone else. It's called selfishness. It clearly wasn't a power grab because the restrictions were eased off on multiple occasions and have mostly gone now.

  5. I fully agree with you. I've unsubscribed from numerous "conservative" commentators, news outlets and cable news feeds for that very reason. And that includes this channel and Triggernometry. They all incorrectly conflate rights and freedom with an "I should be able to do what I like whenever I like" mindset, forgetting that we're all part of communities. All rights, no responsibilities. We saw that here. A dissapointing moment in an otherwise great conversation. They just need to think a little deeper.
