  1. Let's have a better discussion around the devastation that would come from not locking down. Conservatives love to focus on the negatives of the lockdowns while glossing over the tragic devastation caused by covid-19. This video yet again brings into focus the failings of the conservative argument. Sorry to say it, but the left are winning the 'covid debate'. Australia is a far better place to be right now for most people than pretty much anywhere else on the plsnet. The difference is due to the effective lockdown strategy. Would you really want to be in the UK right now with daily cases heading toward 100k? Yes, one can laugh but I don't find it funny.

  2. I don't see the connection between polio and covid-19. They're entirely different disrases and hence require entirely different strategies. It turns out that isolating only those who test positive for covid-19 is grossly ineffective and I shouldn't have to explain why 18 months in.
