  1. Yes, the data says locking down was the correct policy. Australia has done well, New Zealand even better. Not locking down would be tragic. Delays in medical treatment are probably due to mismanagement, not the lock-downs e.g. why would an oncology dept close because ICUs are in demand? No good reason. On the age thing... so what if most of the Covid-19 deaths are in the older age groups?... They died of Covid-19, right? Are worth less when they're 70? Many people in their 70's will live for a decade or two or more, but hey, they're old so we shouldn't care, right? Something wrong with that logic.
