  2. Peter Hitchens is an idiot with nothing useful to say, in my opinion. And anyone who would criticize masks during a pandemic when there is widespread community transmission is also an idiot. Professionals wear masks when transmission of infectious disease is a risk. So should the community when there is similar risk. Thousands are now dead thanks to bad advice on masks and distancing, lock-downs etc.
