While I support Palestinian freedom and I condemn the geno@ide in Palestine, I believe there is another more plusable motive for the arrest of the French police at the Pater Noster Church than the decision of the French government to stop sending armaments to the I@realis after more than a year of death. Rather, when the French informed the I@realis that their foreign minister intended to visit the church, they made a security sweep of the property, naturally, and found two men who claimed to be gendarmes although they wore no uniforms (no familiar kepis) and no identification documents! The I@realis remained at the site to provide security for the French politician and they were persuaded to release the two men who were calling themselves gendarmes. This looks like a storm in a teacup. The French are already participants in geno@ide no matter what the do now.
