But only one country matters to the Israelis and this is the USA. I will take odds that the Americans, like the two main parties in England, will back the Zionists without reservation. More importantly, the Israelis pay more attention to their own electorate, being a democracy as they boast, and you did not mention the local elections held there this week in which those to the right of Netanyahu triumphed. "Far-right and ultra-orthodox Zionist parties made significant gains in Israel’s municipal elections this week, raising fears among secular Israelis and Palestinians in Israel." (Al Jazeera). Among these religious parties the biggest support comes from the youth and those most recently as occupation troops in the West Bank. I'm afraid the reality is bleaker than you suggest.
