  11. This Minister for Housing had nothing to do as the Fine Gael/Fianna Fáil government does not build any houses. Accordingly, he was also given responsibility for Local Government which decades ago used to build council houses before the job was left to developer profiteers. Since no council houses have been built in Ireland for many years nothing was happening so he was asked to look after the Heritage of the 26 counties of Ireland. The man's own heritage will amount to a duck egg. The people of Dublin (Fingal) who vote Fianna Fáil will elect him again at the next general election.
