If Hillary Clinton does not like Tucker Carlson's interview then it must be something good.
1900
The two Irish MEPs are fearless in telling the truth about European hypocrisy.

They cut off Mick Wallace's answer in mid sentence.

For eight years the ethnic-Russian people in the Donbas were bombarded by neo-Nazi Ukrainian nationalists. Children there were developing post-traumatic disorder from the explosions and killing by fellow-countrymen and all the time the Russians did nothing for their kith and kin. After eight relentless years the Russians finally came to the rescue and moved-in with a special military operation. But your guest, Jan Oberg, thinks the Russians were wrong to do this. He is wrong.
141
Some of us have already lost hope in the United Nations for protecting the vulnerable in our world.

Clare Daly and Mick Wallace from Ireland are the two most valuable members of the European Union parliament. They were ignored by the conservative ruling parties in Ireland just as they are ignored by the EU Parliament.

@jd3521 Who are you calling old? Mick is younger than the president of the USA who rambles much more than Mick who is only 68. Ironic that the ad hoc chairman of the debate should cut him off after he asked him if he were prepared to accept a question during a debate on democrats in far away Hong Kong. How about some democracy in the European Parliament chamber.

Dr. Gabrielle Krone-Schmalz says what some of us have been saying for years.

Some of us living in European Union countries never supposed Russia intended to invade and conquer Ukraine if only because Putin stood by year-after-year while ethnic-Russian Ukrainian families took a merciless beating from the fascist Azov Battalion for eight long years and did nothing except turn a blind eye to piecemeal irregular support by Russian volunteers surreptitiously crossing the border as volunteers helping the people of the Donbas region, culminating in the criminal downing a Malaysian civilian passenger airliner full of Dutch children and their families on a holiday trip to the Far East before retreating back across the border with their tails between their legs. We wondered what was taking the Russian leadership so long so long in coming to the aid of their defenseless kith and kin. This was not the attitude of a country with design on territorial expansion.

Chas Freeman is a true diplomat.

@ElusivEnigma Thank-you for noticing my comment.
23
This video tells the truth.
21
The genocide did not begin until 1948. It is the Nakba.
19
@JohmScriv Blinken does not pretend to be accurate, truthful, objective, ot balanced but always on Israel's side, representing a country which is keeping the genocide well-stocked with bombs, bullets, missiles and surveillance intelligence. We do not expect anything different from him.
17
@tshidisomatsemela249 I cannot agree; the title of the video is accurate.
14
Pascal's preamble was a helpful summary of the Лавров talk as it is difficult for some of us to follow a simultaneous translation due to the emotionally flat voice of the interpreter.
13
@maxkosh4839 After WWII the Canadians allowed in scores of Ukrainian 𐌔𐌔-Schutzmannschaft, if I'm not mistaken. Nasty.
12
The Nazis did what? You got 15 thumbs up which worries me because I have no idea which of several topics mentioned by Pascal you refer to but others do understand. Did Hitler get interviewed by an American journalist? Are you referring to conscription by the Kiev government? Merkel only signed the Minsk Agreement to buy time to arm Kiev so maybe you are referring to England and France only signing the Munich Agreement to buy time to arm? Sorry. The Nazis did what?
10
We didn't have the USA before 1776 so why should it exist now? Heck, Ireland was not a country until 1949 so why recognize it now? . . . Brilliant argument! Only one thumb up? You people!

This video reminds me of my undergraduate study of philosophy and, in particular, the art of understanding and communication (hermeneutics). We cannot expect to agree with others or expect others to agree with us concerning any given subject. This merely means we do not share the presuppositions of each other. I cannot write a book here on YouTube so I will limit myself to saying there must be many like myself who are subscribed to your channel, Pascal, and we get recommendations to watch your videos like this one because we share some important presuppositions about our world and the people in it. We are grateful for your perspective because we can feel we are not alone in our understanding and we can learn from your videos when we are challenged by your arguments. Naturally, others will not subscribe to you and there are some who will criticize you because they think you need to learn from them even though their presuppositions are different from yours. So, some Swiss academic thinks you are wrong. I also learned about the fallacy of ad verecundiam so differing from some respected authority or even from good friends means we must have the courage to be alone. Have courage, Pascal. You are not alone.

@seeker2118 You mean Hillary Clinton has a closed mind? Never!
9
Exactly my point as noted by Clare Daly.
9
@mejust8392 I do share your cynicism.

It is a common fallacy to personalise hostility between two countries or more. It is politicians who make wars but true leaders do speak for people which means they represent their people. An example is Ireland whose leader or prime minister (taoiseach), Leo Varadkar was implored weekly at questions to the taoiseach in parliament (dáil) by the main opposition party (Sinn Fèin) for seven straight weeks to join with South Africa's filing with the International Court of Justice in condemnation of Israel for genocide. Tens of thousands in the small country demonstrated in the streets and called on Varadkar to act but he refused. He clearly did not represent the Irish people de facto although he was noted for his hubris by the way he spoke on behalf of the Irish people. A week ago he resigned and a new taoiseach replaced him. Two days later Ireland joined with South Africa in its filing. These politicians have much power and influence but the reality of politics, especially in democracies, has a way of giving the boot to leaders who have lost touch with their people.

Although Blinken is Hebrew with a right to Israeli citizenship for him and his family to settle in Tel Aviv if he so wishes, it is not clear whether he has yet claimed Israeli citizenship.
7
@peanut0brain All Americans can have dual and triple citizenship if they so qualify, not only Israelis.
7
To allow migrant workers to move to the EU for manual labor opportunities.
5
@danutahanyga4834 Your response is too long and you missed my point. I did not write about the USA only and the reason I mentioned Ireland becoming a country as late as 1949 was to reinforce my point that countries come and go. The idiotic suggestion that because a country did not exist at one time it cannot be recognized as one today was what I argued against.
5
@web3982 You write like someone who has experience at yapping.
4
You could have knocked me down with a feather when I recently heard ray McGovern say on another channel that it does not matter to what extent the Americans get involved with sending munitions to the Ukraine, Russia will not take it out on Americans and that everyone in the United States is safe as it is only the Europeans who might get hit by Russian retaliation. The man is not listening to Lavrov and Putin or cannot properly analyse plain Russian speaking.
4
@jskok3280 Most especially the Security Council with the U.S. veto.
4
@dinf8940 I had to look up the meaning of the streisand effect so I learned more from your comment than I do from most.
4
@rockitMiC Are you saying, Lock her up!

I found Wolfgang Streeck difficult to understand. He kept laughing while he was talking about Israel being able to use nuclear weapons. He had a good chuckle at the Sampson Option. He did explain why Germany supports Israel so much but I could not understand a word of it. More than half way through he spoke of the risk of being called antisemitic as perhaps an explanation.
4
It mystifies me that Pascal uses a newspaper, The New York Times, as though it were an academic journal, publishing the peer-reviewed analysis of NATO based on research instead of an editorial that will be used to wrap fish and chips tomorrow. There are other newspapers giving equally valid opinions no more correct than my own or yours or even Pascal's. Does Pascal also read The Oregonian, I wonder or The Sun in Baltimore? What is it with commentators who think whatever Peter Baker at a newspaper thinks means anything more than what my local barber thinks?
4
@ZappyOh Balfour did not create Israel, the culprit in the persecution of the Palestinian people. It was the United Nations, not the British who gave most of Palestine to the Jews. Sorry.
4
@vasilispatsalidis5683 I was replying to another person who did say he was an Israeli. I was clarifying the issue. You are mistaken if you believe Blinken's job is to "defend the interests of the US population (which he is clearly not doing anyway) because his job is to advise old Joe Biden and then defend Joe Biden's policy in delivering tons of money and weaponry to Israel, no questions asked.
4
Pascal, please stop emphasizing the importance of one newspaper in New York. The New York Times is not even a communication of the U.S. State Department. Some of us do not live in New York and we do not even live in America. This might surprise you. I live in Spain but I never hear you mentioning El Paìs or El Mundo or ABC to mention only three of the largest Spanish national newspapers. I'm sure you have viewers in other countries too, many in the Collective West. How valid is the opinion of The New York Times about anything, I'm bound to ask.
3
@wiwlarue4097 Forgive me but your response is too broad and sprawling to see clearly what you mean. I find it hard to see how it helps our understanding.
3
You don't make sense.
3
The EU lost its calling some years ago when it got subsumed by NATO/OTAN. The problem was a lack of democracy in the EU Parliament which was limited to rubber-stamping Commission policies and the fact that nearly all member states are also members of NATO/OTAN.
3
@steveellis2501 There was never any doubt of that.
3
@maxwolf8055 Every European should learn Russian after they acquire some Español.
3
Most of us are not experts and we have learned not to trust our main stream media, including those belonging to and regulated by our governments. We end up on YouTube and then we can get alternative narratives. We then recognize what sounds more truthful and we become followers of certain sites. But we must be careful not to blindly follow those who usually say what we like to hear. Maintaining a critical eye even on our favorite takes some effort too.
2
@richardknight-x1r Correct. It was after Lavrov's statement last week that McGovern said the Americans are completely safe. I couldn't believe my ears
2
Pascal begins by saying how Donald Trump's idea to empty out Gaza and then develop it into prime beach property for the people there (Israelis). Pascal says the remarks were prepared and written on cards and not off the cuff. He then asks Ray McGovern what he thinks of the White House and who is in charge. Ray then says Trump will continue to talk "off the cuff". It looks like a disagreement.
2
I turned this interview off because I was learning nothing from this Zionist-indoctrinated German ex-general.
2
The same can be said of Nazi Germany and Austria. You'll never teach these people to be good citizens.
2
Better to forget WW2? Pity.

@avenger4027 Intelligent people can get it wrong if they are lied to,
