Saul Takahashi paints a bleak picture of the current state of international law where the USA and its allies are exempt. Israel is a scofflaw country financed heavily by the USA and given political cover in the UN Security Council. His advice to us is to write to our members of parliaments but he indicates that what is needed is a mass movement of populations such as we have seen with the hundreds of thousands marching in our streets in an effort to get our western governments to stop supporting the genocide in Palestine. This coupled with BDS could make a difference. I do not share his optimism.
