  1. I came to the conclusion some time ago that the European Union Parliament is a conservative body. I only ever see Clare Daly or Mick Wallace but they are always speaking to an empty chamber. We will have elections for the EU Parliament in June and I will do what I can to return a member of the Podemos party here in Andalucía, Spain. I do not know when the Parliament will be electing the new President of the Commission. For myself, Ursula v/d Leyen is a disgrace because of her 100% backing of Israel in its genocide and her backing of the corrupt government of Kiev for membership of the Union which would mean a haemorrhaging of billions of euros to Western Ukraine and no support for peace there. What frightens me is that she represents what the Parliament wants and the politicians there will pick someone like her if she is replaced.
