Some of us could see immediately after the attack on the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) Gaza Division on 7 October 2023 that the Israeli bombings and sniper fire was targeting the civilian population of Gaza. It began as a genocide. Yet, at 3:39, Ami Ayalon says it took some Israelis seven months, others eight months and even a year to understand what they were doing. At 3:28 he mischaracterizes the military operation of revenge as a ·war of defense". It was never about defense, The IDF failed to defend themselves and Israeli citizens during the breakout. He also falsely claims that the Hamas (probably meaning the Qassam Brigades) is defeated (4:22). He continually refers to the resistance fighters as "terrorists" (4:02) as he disregards the right of an occupied people to armed resistance. There is no reasoning with a man like this. If the occupation would end, there would be no need for Qassam Brigades to be fighting for an end to the occupation.
