There is a lot we do not hear about unless we go looking which I did and I discovered the annual inflation rate in Russia fell for the second month to 8.5% in October 2024, the lowest since May, down slightly from 8.6% in September. By comparison, the inflation rate in Ukraine increased to 9.70% in October from 8.60 percent in September of 2024. At 10:02 we wre told that Russia has an oligarchy running the country. This falsehood ignores how Vladimir Putin put controls on the American-style corporate oligarchies that was permitted by Boris Yeltsin who allowed an American-style privatization of publicly owned enterprises after the fall of the Soviet system. Russian oligarchs who bought up public enterprises for a song are gone now under the repurchasing at favorable prices of enterprises for the ownership of the people. Russian oligarchs were sent to prison for theft or they went to their new home in I𐌔𐌔@Rail and all have recently moved to London and Manhattan. I quit watching here.
