I see you are interviewing Owen Jones who is known for condemning Hamas every day for the first five months of the genocide, accusing them of war crimes and outrageous assaults on 7 October 2023. Every broadcast on his channel included a condemnation of Hamas. Owen Jones also says the Israelis are a people who were subjected to a holocaust and therefore it is inappropriate to accuse them of a genocide.And here you are interviewing him.

@mikeg5372 I am not confusing Owen Jones with Piers Morgan. I used to subscribe to Owen Jones' account and every single day for the first five months of the genocide he attacked Hanas for despicable war crimes because in England at this time, every spokesperson who promoted the Palestinian cause had to answer the question whether they denounced Hamas. He also refused to accuse the Israelis of genocide because of the Nazi Final Solution. He claimed it was inappropriate because of the destruction of European Jews by the Germans. I watched Owen Jones every day before I unsubscribed. I never watched Piers Morgan.

@Betleyman_7 Well, I was a subscriber to Owen Jones for years and he did refuse to call Israel's policy on Gaza a genocide for at least the first five months since 7 October. It was in an interview on British TV that he spoke of the terrible loss of Palestinian lives but he explained that he avoids calling Israeli "genocide" because of what happened to the Jews in the "holocaust". I stopped listening to Owen about March 2024. I do believe something happened after the first five months which got Owen to begin to face facts even more and he has since called the Israeli actions genocidal. He had a change of heart.

@sajadazaman9384 I'm prepared to accept that everyone makes mistakes but when he stuck the knife in Jeremy Corbyn's back on a false accusation that he was antisemitic, that crossed a line for me. He also claims to be a "personal eye witness to the evidence of Hamas atrocities and war crimes" because he was invited to watch an IDF video of 7 October break-out from Gaza, he sickened me. It took him five months into the genocide to begin to change his narrative and to realize the IDF video is full of bogus accusations against Hamas and fabricated stories about the burning of babies and attacks on women. I'm no fan.

@mikeg5372 If you are able to watch again any of Owen Jones' videos for the first five months of the genocide you will hear him condemn Hamas and he refused to use the word genocide_ during these five months.

@mikeg5372 All his old videos had daily condemnations of Hamas. I don't know how you can access them. Read his comments in the Guardian where he joined with British Jews in their campaign against Jeremy Corbyn. I do not have the resources to find the articles for you. If you are one of Owen Jones' devotees then you know what he has been saying. I cannot find the video of another YouTuber who cited Jones refusing to use the word genocide on account of the genocide suffered by European Jews in the last century. He thought Jews should never be accused of genocide because of the Nazi death camps. As I say, after five months of relentless bombing of Gaza, Jones changed his mind about using the genocide word. His record, until recently, has been very pro-Israel. I could not believe he called himself a "personal eye witness of the evidence of Hamas atrocities". And No, I cannot tell you where to find that video of him making that claim. I saw it. I don't know how you missed all this.
