  1. Thoroughly entertaining, informative, and powerful documentary. The Bundesrepublik Deutschland was never de-Nazified. German nationalism, policing, and the rush to war rather than diplomacy are marked traits among Germans of the former West Germany to this day. It must be granted that an alternative, socialist, and internationalist character was established in the Deutsche Demokratische Republik (DDR) and in the latest general election the electorate of the former DDR (East Germany) rejected the russophobic former West Germany by voting for Die Linke in Berlin and Alternative für Deutschland (AfD) in all constituencies reflecting the former DDR. A firewall of non-cooperation with AfD is the joint policy of the coalition of SPD and CDU/CSU denying East Germans representation in government. The old, still West German nationalist and militaristic unrepentant parties do not represent the people of the former DDR.

Even Hitler intervened to allow the Jewish doctor, Eduard Bloch, who looked after his mother before her death, making sure he could emigrate from Austria to the USA with unrestricted capacity to take the fair value of his home as well as his personal bank assets after die Anschluß.
