Like the Irish in Europe who side with the Palestinians because the English had treated them as Untermensch to be beaten down, so do the Chinese sympathise with the Palestinians because they remember what it was like under Japanese attack in the last century. What is encouraging is that the youth of China who were not alive during the Japanese persecution have been educated to remember. The Palestinian children and their families will not be forgotten just as we remember the Jews who suffered in the Final Solution of the Third Reich at the hands of the Germans.

I mentioned the Irish before reading your comment. It is worth noting that the Irish government is careful not to resist the Irish people too much as it is the people who side with the Palestinians. The Irish government is terrified of the Americans and walks a tightrope.

@keithalfred5308 YouTube has its limitations. I wrote only one sentence about Ireland so over simplification is to be expected. A library has been written about Ireland's history and the part played by the English. In my opinion, a two state solution for Palestine will not work because Israel will remain an apartheid state and there is no room in our modern world for a racist state for Jews alone with a fifth of its population considered Untermensch. A single state with equal voting rights and a right of return of Palestinians is best.

@moggadah None of us are mind readers but we can judge actions. Communism is against colonial racism. Also, everyone can see the G-cide of the Palestinian children and their families. So, it is easy to understand why the Chinese reject American and European-backed Zionism.

The days when the Chinese obeyed foreign governments are long gone but the Israelis demand full support on pain of being labeled with the slur of being anti-semitic. Modern China is rediscovering their concern for Palestinians.
