  3.  @joyl7842  For starters, the cost and technical challenge of lifting fuel into orbit, is the same, whether its a 'tanker' or just a rocket. Its completely nonsensical, to lift fuel off the surface. Second, orbital mechanics and zero gravity maneuvers with a dynamically shifting mass distribution, as would occur with a fuelling platform, are extremely complicated and extremely hazardous, for no tangible benefit.
