  1. I was a US Army imagery analyst. Resolution and imagery aren't nearly as good as everyone thinks; atmosphere and local environmental conditions dramatically degrage imagery, from its theoretical limits. Its the analysts you need to be concerned about. In Desert Storm, we could tell if a truck was carrying equipment/supplies, or people, by the color of vegetation.
