  1. Surefire does not honor civilian warranties. Their stock answer to civilian warranty claims is 'its counterfeit, because our stuff doesn't break'. Their batteries leaked and ruined the switch in my G2. First they told me the light was counterfeit, until I produced a receipt. Then they wanted a receipt for my batteries and when I couldn't produce it, they told me "Our batteries don't leak, you bought counterfeit batteries and need to contact the seller". So, a couple months later, I made a claim through my work, where we use a shitload of Surefire products and they asked no questions, asked for no documentation, just replaced it with no hassle. They are thieves.
