  1. My prediction for fusion is that we'll crack it wide open in a generation and it will prove to be far less impressive than we expected. Furthermore, our transmission technology and distribution infrastructure, at its most sophisticated, is still far below the potential of current power generation. That bottleneck is whats responsible for power shortfalls and cost. Fusion power won't fix that.
