  1.  @aro4322  Yes. Strategy. They left unannounced so that the Taliban, or the ANA, or the ANA and the Taliban couldn't do an attack to keep the Americans there. The Taliban wants America there, as much as the gvt does. American occupation, gives them both legitimacy, power and and fundraising opportunities.
