  1. Awareness of being shot, tends to simply take the fight out of most people and dropping is merely a supplication, like putting your hands up. Yup, been shot and blown up. When I got hit, the bullet clipped a nerve. It was like getting hit with a taser. I immediately recovered and my whole left side felt weak and tingly, but it would've been easy enough to just stay down.
