  1. No, no respect and no sportsmanship. It may surprise those of everyone gets a trophy generation, but that was completely self-serving, disrespectful and dishonorable. He robbed the other kid of his dignity and pride as an athlete, by putting on a pitty display. A 'sportsman' would've had the respect to stand up and say Im not going to fight an injured opponent. Instead, he used the other kid to signal his virtue.

  2.  @joeyasro8785  At that competitive level, he knows better. I think he did exactly what he intended. He was faced with defeating a downed opponent and being criticized for it, but he couldn't just man up and forfeit, so he decided to have it both ways and claim a glorious win, from taking a dive.
