  2. Uh, there is zero democracy in the region, for Putin to gain an upper hand over. Syria was always a Russian proxy state. Leaving it alone, simply changes nothing. What people fail to understand is that Western virtues cannot be applied to the Middle East. They dont want Democracy, they dont want our values, they dont want our presence. They rule the way they have for millennia - brutality and force. USSR kept the Middle East in check, until its collapse in the early 90s. Thats when this current state of anarchy began. Western values are simply insufficient to deal with the Middle East, so we need leave it in the hands of someone who can control them.

  3. Giovanni Sanseviero  Uh, your point is invalid because Putin has advanced nowhere, hes merely not been pushed back. Again - there is no democracy for him to threaten. That is the point. Perhaps learn about the things you want to talk about, rather than regurgitate half baked propaganda. Russia isnt Communist and hasnt been for decades. Thats why theyre the bad guys now; because theyre traitors to the Party.
