  1. ​ @Lord-Of-DogTown  Thats because conspiracists always have to take it soooooooo way too far. So, Ive been in intelligence. I was an analyst in the US Army for 10 years (Desert Storm/Southern Watch, Gothic Serpent, Infinite Reach ,Noble Anvil and some Special Project field assignments) and Ive had enough contact with intelligence operatives to know exactly what an 'inside job' would look like - some CIA agent ginning up a bunch of jihadis to hijack planes and fly them into buildings. Not as exciting as thousands of conspirators working in perfect unison like synchronized swimmers rigging buildings, wiring planes, burying hundreds of passengers in the desert, holograms, etc... and not one of them talks. What's so funny and obnoxious is people who never paid any attention to air security until after, that are so incredulous that someone could get on a plane with a boxcutter and get into the cockpit. Ive had several cockpit tours with a 4" pocketknife in my pocket. My first flight after 9/11, I felt like a prisoner at shakedown.
