Ill save you some time, 'fake mall ninja' plate armor is exactly as effective against a 9mm, as the best historically accurate plate armor - zero

Unfortunately, seen worse wounds where people survived way too long, if for only moments. Most incapacitations are psychological. The heart can be completely destroyed and the subject will still have 10 - 20 seconds of conscious fight in them. The only physically effective immediate incapacitation, is a critical shock to the central nervous system, ie brain/brainstem. Even then, a subject may 'live' for a significant time after conscious action has ceased. A more accurate statement would be that anyone wearing that armor would've incurred an unsurvivable wound.

Thats a little backwards. They were the one going to war and their army fought beside them. Its an important distinction.

The 'winner' and 'loser' of a knife fight, it usually differentiated by how you enter the ER - on your feet, or on your back.

What I will say about archaeologists... Once in college in the 90s, I witnessed a postgrad and an archaeology professor having what appeared to be a lighthearted, friendly conversation. I don't know what, but somebody said something that took it from chuckles and shoulder slapping to Worldstar, like flipping a switch. Took 2 students and another teacher to pry them apart. Like feral tomcats.

Hannibal might be the single most overrated figure in history.

Better not be clickbait

Hes definitely bending the sword. His body position, the perspective and the depiction of his hand being strained, indicates hes bending it across his body.

@solinvictus2045 Look at the perspective shading

It would be like that scene from the Matrix when Keanu Reeves wakes up on the ship.

Id go to the 12th Century, invent the flintlock and raise an army with 20th Century tactics and strategy, while trying not to be burned for sorcery.

When I was doing my postgrad program for my psych MA, I dealt with a serial rapist in prison, who 'reassigned' himself with a razorblade and presented his twig and berries to a correctional officer, wrapped in toilet paper. He didn't want to be a woman, he wanted to get out of prison.

@Belnick6666 Check its back for scars

All of this has been grossly insulting for quite some time. - gay 'brown' girl The way these people attribute 'gayness' to historical figures, is like calling their predatory boss a ladies' man.
1
No, Rome failed because of self-indulgence. The gays were just one of the indulgences.
1
Its just like prison

Do Ditch Guy
1
The issue that should be at discussion, is Hannibal's gross overrating as a General.

They were made from split saplings, not 'branches' and what made the design attractive was that it could be made from geen wood. The material and design are not very good, which is why it had to be so big. But, it was rapidly mass producible with low skill. In many ways, the Medieval AK47. 'Ditches man'??? Get it right, Ditch Guy
