  10. +John Culley This is why we all started putting at least one SWAT qualified officer on every patrol. This way, any call can have a SWAT operator on scene almost immediately. Practically every dept with a SWAT team does this. The question is why there was no one available to respond and lead the onsite deputies in an entry.

  11. THEY said they want to disarm us. THEY havd been openly saying it for decades. Look up some 'gun control' quotes from Hillary, Feinstein, Obama, etc just to name a few easy ones. Then look deeper, into the names youre not familiar with. They have ALL said outright that they are for registration and licensing, or outright prohibition of ALL private firearms.

They were armed with pistols that they probably havent fired since their last qual and probably have never unholstered on duty, before. This while facing an unknown number of unidentified assailants, in unknown locations, firing high-caliber weapons that will go through their vests like paper. There are serious questions and criticisms, but unqualified, unprepared cops charging in blind, is not a valid one. The real question, is why werent their any qualified officers available to respond and take charge of the onsite officers. BSO has a quality SWAT unit. Most depts with SWAT units, have SWAT officers distributed to patrols, so that an operator can be either the first or second unit on scene, at any call. This has been a very effective practice, so why wasnt that the case, here?

But as usual, its someone elses responsibility; no one wants to get involved(no, its not just a 'black thing'). I dont want to put my name on the record, I dont want to waste my day in court, Ill just abdicate my civic duties to the police and then blame them for not handling it. Long list of people/policies/things to blame. Police are at the bottom of that list.
